For one of our clients, industrial group operating in south of Luxembourg,
We are looking to recruit Head of Group Accounting.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to Group VP Finance.
Monitoring accounting services for several core entities of the group, Lux and abroad in EU.
Management, control and support of the accounting team (10+ pers).
Supervising and controlling the general accounting & reporting area (including cost center/profit center accounting, intercompany reconciliations, policies, regulatory compliance and preparation of financial statements + interaction with group consolidation team).
Process Optimization: Leverage SAP expertise to identify and implement opportunities
Tax & VAT returns, regulatory filings.
Drive Process Efficiency and Strategic Projects
Qualifications:
University Master degree in accounting or equivalent with a global audit/accounting officer experience of at least 10 years, and BIG4 background is ideal.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing accounting team of at least 5 people, within an international industrial or commercial company a real plus.
Required Skills:
Proficient in working with Lux GAAP (IFRS is a plus), and have good knowledge of SAP
French and English are mandatory, German is a real plus.
